AI as a "Forcing Function" in Our Lives

The chatbot, Grok defines a "forcing function" thus:

"...the forcing function is the mathematical representation of an external agent that drives the system, distinct from the system’s free (homogeneous) motion. It is a standard concept in classical mechanics, oscillations, and the theory of linear (and some nonlinear) differential equations used throughout physics and engineering."

AI is a forcing function on human life on planet earth. I told Grok, "Define a forcing function to a 4th grader. Explain it in the context of life in general."

A forcing function is something outside of you that gives you a push to do something, so you don’t just sit around and wait. Think of it like this:

Imagine you’re building a big Lego castle. You want to finish it, but you keep getting distracted by snacks or TV. Then your mom says, “Dinner is in 20 minutes—clean up before then!” Suddenly you work faster and finish the important part. That 20-minute warning is a forcing function.

In Mathematics, the equation for a forcing function is (Physics also has a similar equation):

where f(t) is the forcing function. At each fixed time (t), it acts like a constant source term that “forces” the system’s evolution. (Please, do not forget this!)

Time reveals the effects or impacts of a forcing function. Time will reveal the impacts of AI. If you desire not to be at a disadvantage, you have to discipline yourself to understand the thing that is acting as a forcing function in your life. Leave NOTHING to chance. In this case, seek to understand AI. 💯🌻💞🎇👌

To survive the replacement of human workers by AI, people will have to be good at working with AI and also at doing things that no AI can do. What can AI not do? For starters, AI does not have a soul and a spirit. As a result, only people who devote themselves to matters of soul and spirit in addition to intellectual growth, will actually be the ones who will be very relevant at the workplace and in life in general.

AI is going to exert a very massive "forcing function" on people. You will be forced to evolve or become irrelevant. Matters of soul and spirit enable you to be outstanding in "the art of questioning" - you have to know how to ask the right questions! Matters of soul and spirit include things that empower you to thrive in loving service in such a way that you give forth a touchingly loving and empowering energy signature from your personality. You will have to bring in compassionate love to the workplace and to your general everyday life that other people would appreciate deeply. You will have to bring in greater intuition, understanding, courage, knowledge, counsel, worship, and wisdom. You have to be a good and faithful custodian of truth, beauty, and goodness.

You will have to bring in your unique insight and foresight that no AI can offer. You will have to learn how to use your will-power to connect with your higher self; your spirit (the still, small voice within) - this will cause you or get you to exhibit superhuman values. To beat AI/SI (Artificial Intelligence or Super Intelligence), to be more relevant than AI, the only way out is for man to become "supernatural"!

Your personal relationship with God (Prime Creator, Source, Infinite Upholder) has to grow to higher levels. THERE IS NO OTHER WAY! The "forcing function" or the pressure for people to change exerted by AI is actually a blessing in disguise. ENJOY THE RIDE! 😇🙏🏽🔥🙏💖

Humans, not AI, will always be in control if we, humans understand and work in line with the ideals of our bodies, souls, and spirits.

Yes, AI's intelligence may supercede that of humans. However, with humans, it's not just "intelligence". There is also the spiritual aspect that we have to take into serious consideration. A human being who is intelligent and at the same time truly spiritually minded CANNOT be superceded by AI, SI or whatever we may call it.

A human being has a body, a soul, and a spirit. Within this framework is a mind, and a "heart". His mind has the potential to literally connect and stay connected with the mind of God (of "Source") - the Infinite Upholder, the Uncaused Cause, the Father of love, the Father of all, the First Source and Divine Center.

When you are in sync with the divine, your soul grows. Your spirit is literally a fragment of God, of Source within you. This is the still, small voice within, the divine fractal, the Thought Adjuster. A growing soul excels in intiution, understanding, courage, knowledge, counsel, worship, and wisdom. A growing soul thrives in love (conscious loving service), sincere fairness, joy, faith, patience, courageous loyalty, spiritual power, etc. No robot, no AI, nothing can dominate people who are in partnership with God. NOTHING.

MUST You Acquire A Degree?

The world has changed. University degrees are *NOT* needed in more and more professional careers these days.

Spending a lot of money attending big name schools is really a waste of money, in my opinion. Yes, there may be exceptions. But for the most part, it's a waste of money.

What is needed today is SKILLS:

- What skills do you have? 

- What new knowledge are you willing to acquire? 

- Are you passionate about constant and continuous improvement? 

These are the people who will excel in today's world. 

The world is changing so fast. As an individual, you can do more things by yourself for yourself without needing professional services from doctors, lawyers, food and nutrition experts, computer engineers, etc, etc. This is true if you know how to use AI.

One of the solutions we must implement is to use TECHNOLOGY to promote border security and fight crime and corruption: 

- Biometrics technology has to be brought in at our embassies, airports, and all other entry and exit border points. 

- Everyone in the country, citizens and foreigners alike must be made to have a valid and traceable/trackable form of IDENTIFICATION that is in a secure database. This database must be readily available at all times to our security agencies and our criminal justice system in general. 

- People from other countries seeking to enter Nigeria must go through thorough background check procedures. They must be made to provide background information from their home countries. And modern day technology tools are available to assist in this. 

- We need border walls. Walls work. Advances in science and technology have made it possible to have very strong and secure border walls. You can even have a great see-through wall because it helps to see what is going on, on the other side. The wall can even serve as a source of energy at the same time: solar wall! 

- Drone Technology and border crossing scanners have to be put in place to help with border security and immigration services. 

- GPS (Global Positioning System) Technology is a must have. Each of our six geopolitical zones should have a center equipped with state of the art computer technology to see and assess things that are happening in our lands, airways and waterways in real time. Your country is a map. Let that map be at your fingertips in real time. 

- We must work tirelessly to ensure that every nook and cranny of the country is interconnected and easily accessible by road, air and sea. Every dwelling place must have a registered address that can be easily tracked and navigated to. 

If we put these things in place, they would go a very long way to ensure that our country is peaceful, secure and prosperous.

Invent, Innovate or Perish

I saw a video of a meeting between the Presidents of Nigeria and Russia. I could not help but think: It seems we are dependent on others like Russia to assist us with their scientific and technological might - in different areas: oil & gas, steel, security, military, etc. Ok. That's fine. But please, when will we start asking ourselves, "Why can we not do it ourselves? When would we have the scientific and technological prowess to fix these problems ourselves?" 

There's no way a country can be delivered from the clutches of crime, insecurity and poverty if she does not excel in research, inventions and innovations in Science and Technology. No way! 

And the investments needed should not come from the government alone. More and more Nigerians must get involved individually. This is the secret. This is what separates developed countries from underdeveloped countries. This is what is happening in America as we speak. This has been happening for decades upon decades. It's no secret. People all over America, pour money into research in healthcare, tech gadgets, software companies, agriculture, etc, etc. Of course, with the hope of good returns... But it's risky. And they are willing to take the risks. Even when the U.S. economy wasn't that great, they did it. It changed America! 

This is what Nigerians need to do: embrace the mindset that says, "We must invent and innovate or we would be enslaved by others." The U.S. government and her citizens didn't want to be enslaved or oppressed by the then USSR or Hitler's Germany or Japan. It pushed them to support homegrown inventions and innovations! Safety and "national security" are taken very, very seriously in America. It forces you to think and act! Now please ask, "What is forcing people in my country to think and act and save our asses from enslavement?" 
Our millionaires and also our middle class - a lot of them are engrossed in marrying more wives or experimenting with more girlfriends or just showing off one way or the other! We are splashing money in weddings in Dubai! We are splashing money in burial ceremonies in Nigeria! And the quest for "quick money" is not encouraging investing in scientific and technological innovations either! And then there's the problem of lack of cooperation because of religious and ethnic squabbles. We must put all these aside and rally around a common cause - finding amazing solutions to our existential threats as a collective - a collective as black people in black Africa. 

Natural Resources

Natural resources (for example, liquid and solid mineral resources) should be converted to man-made goods and services in a reasonable, systematic and sustainable manner. We cannot and should not continue to merely export raw materials to the rest of the world. To major in the export of raw materials is an outright disservice to humanity and an insult on our intelligence and creative abilities.

Inventions and innovations in Science and Technology play a very, very big role here. The conversion of natural resources to useful man-made goods and services promotes outstanding creativity. Also, these goods and services would be a major income earner and a massive job creator. At the end of the day, we will witness peace and prosperity; a higher standard of living and a greatly improved quality of life of the people.

"Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, and the Future of Work: Myths and Facts" by Robert D. Atkinson

A country that majors in consumption instead of production is bound to fail...

You cannot see remarkable growth and development in a country if the leaders of that country and also a sizable percentage of it's population place little or no importance in RESEARCH, INVENTION AND INNOVATION IN SCIENCE & TECHNOLOGY. It's that simple. A country that majors in consumption instead of production is bound to fail... 

1) The Nigerian government and peoples need to do more to encourage RESEARCH, INVENTION AND INNOVATION IN SCIENCE & TECHNOLOGY. Inventors and innovators must be identified, rewarded and celebrated. Their products and services must see the light of day - come to full fruition and be in the hands and lives of the masses both locally and internationally.
2) Well to do Nigerians in higher numbers must step up to the plate and become "angel investors" - to invest money in the work of home-grown inventors and innovators in Science and Tech. We have these inventors and innovators all over Nigeria. 
3) Nigerians who may not consider themselves as millionaires can also assist. They can "crowdfund" an invention or innovation. Also, simple gifts of say ₦10,000 or ₦20,000 to individuals with great Science & Tech ideas can go a long way. 

I can go on and on. But will stop here for now. We need an "attitudinal change". A powerful "mind-shift" must occur... #OneLove

VENTURE CAPITAL NIGERIA INITIATIVE

Our definition of a product is one that meets a tangible need and provides value to the consumer and/or the environment. Our goal is to have local solutions to local problems. We understand the lack of infrastructure and basic resources create a rather unique environment and we are facing it head on.

This is more than a MADE IN NIGERIA initiative as a billion Africans experience the same hardships and challenges. This is a grassroots move by a series of Africans from different sectors and industries to add value and change life as we know it through technology and education.

Our products, inventors and ideas are the first of so many that will transform OUR society. We are not dependent on governmental support and have chosen to forge a path of our own. There needs to be a shift in ideology and understanding. The way we think about problems needs to change.

We need to embrace our future and own the fact that we can determine it. That WE have an effect on how, what, where and when these can be solved. We can only do this through working together to find solutions and technology offers such a platform.

The mentality of defeat must be replaced with one of curiosity, we must shed the yokes of days past and approach and take on a renewed outlook because therein lies our solution.

In April 2006, Facebook closed its Series B funding round. This included $27.5 million (N11,000,000,000.00) from a number of venture capitalists, including Greylock Partners and Meritech Capital, plus additional investments from Peter Thiel and Accel Partners. The valuation for this round was about $500 million (N200,000,000,000.00).

A leaked cash flow statement showed that during the 2005 fiscal year, Facebook had a net gain of $5.66 million (N2,264,000,000.00).

A close look at this Facebook example shows one thing: No where would you see that the U.S. government gave a kobo to Facebook. (But it provided an "enabling environment".) All the monies there came from Angel Investors. 

Nigerians need a massive mental, mindal shift. More of our millionaires and billionaires MUST see the importance of investing MONEY into homegrown Science and Technology companies. 

The general public also needs to be properly informed about this as well. We have very powerful, successful and influential banks today because millionaires, billionaires and the general public rallied together, bought shares, poured money into our homegrown banks. This must also be replicated in our Science and Technology companies. And as we do this, we'll become more self-reliant. We'll have a robust economy. We'll drastically reduce poverty.
